Notes from the game- Many Yankee players won their first World Series tonight, and it was great to see.
Alex Rodriguez was 1 for 2 in the game with 2 walks scoring 2 runs on the base paths.
You have to be impressed with how he handled this entire post season.
It was tough for him to put up monstrous numbers toward the end because the pitchers stopped giving him anything to hit.
Hideki Matsui was incredible in this clinching game it would be a huge mistake not to sign him in the off season.
What a way for the New York Yankees to start their first season in their new ball park.
It will be a long and nice winter for the Bronx Bombers who will all go home as 2009 World Series Champions.
