G-men's Playoff Hopes Likely Over After 41-9 Loss

It was quite embarrassing for the 2007 Super Bowl Champions as they were completely obliterated in today's game.

For a team that was being beaten by a large margin there was no reason to leave superstars #10 Eli Manning, and #44 Ahmad Bradshaw in all game.

Poor Eli what a season he has had and with the exception of Ahmad has gotten no support from his team.

You could see from a curtain point that they had no realistic chance of winning so why take a chance on causing further injury to your two best players?

Eli threw two interceptions but was 29 for 43 chucking for 296 yards finding the end zone for 1 touchdown pass averaging 6.9 yards per pass.

E. Manning has done everything he can to carry the team this year they just do not have enough depth to compete against the better teams.

It has been obvious for a long time that this squad needs a change either if its in the lineup or regarding their management.

The defensive coordinator has done a lousy job considering they cannot hold a decent team under 40 points.

It makes you wonder if they can stop anyone they just continuously leave guys wide open, and are not finishing their tackles.

A. Bradshaw once again found a way to play hurt rushing for 53 yards on 11 carries, but the overall team failed to perform once again when they really needed to get it together.

If you think about it the New York Giants do not deserve to make the playoffs they have been playing horrible defense, their #1 running back #27 Brandon Jacobs has been nothing short of pathetic, your receivers are dropping easy passes there is not a whole lot of positives here.

In reality there is nothing to really build on just rest your key players make a few off season moves, and come back as a competitor again.

For all the Giant fans who are complaining right now you all were given one of the greatest Super Bowls in history for 2007, and you all should be getting down on your knees to thank Eli Manning for that game because who knows if anyone else would have stepped in to do what he did.

E. Manning has dealt with the nonstop criticism even to this day those people should see how much he has helped a team that lost the best wide receiver in the game with Plaxico Burress along with one of the better middle linebackers around Antonio Pierce.

The good thing that you can take from this season is A. Bradshaw finally started to get the credit he deserves because of his mental toughness to step on that field when he could barely stand.

Ahmad has battled injuries all year long but you wouldn't know it by the way he bulls through defenses around the NFL.

So if you dare to watch this team again this season with how badly they have played then tune in on Sunday when they battle the Minnesota Vikings led by the legendary #4 Brett Favre.

This could be an entertaining game because you will witness two of the best quarterbacks in the game going at it once again.
