Rumours have circled around that Vincent is unhappy in Tampa Bay, and wants to be traded.
The way New York has played this good be an excellent gamble for a team that has played inconsistent all season long.
It would add a lot of offense to the blueshirts who seem to have trouble finding the back of the net.
Not too mention the leadership V. Lecavalier could bring, and lets not forget his past playing under the Head Coach John Tortorella they won the Stanly Cup together in 2004.
There is other deals that can be made but if this player is looking for a way out then Madison Square Garden would be a nice landing spot for him at the end of his next destination.
