The Immortal Hulk Hogan Made Wrestling

For years the memories of the immortal Hulk Hogan has lingered on, he is the man who made the WWE what it is today.

You can throw up whatever name you want, the fact is Hulk paved the way for so many greats that you see today.

There is grown people who would still be anxious to get a chance to meet him, there is no bigger name in the history of wrestling.

If I could make a comparison that would sum up what hes really meant to the fans, lets just say the man is the Babe Ruth of wrestling.

I'm going to try to remember all the things I can, there will be stuff missing because you have to remember there is boatloads of accomplishments in his career.

So many stars over the year have come and gone, but Hulk remains a name to be seen on TNA Impact. He has stuck around wrestling and has done everything he can to keep it going.

Over the years he did everything Vince McMahon basically asked of him, he stands out being the major reason for all the success they had with Wrestlemania III..

The show drew over 93,000 fans which has never been done before or since, the ending was what made the event when Hulk Hogan was able to slam the gigantic Andre The Giant.

It was a moment that has never been forgotten, if you ask any wrestling fans who were alive during that time, they would all tell you how amazing it was.

The thing that made him such a good worker at that time, he was willing to do whatever he had to in order to create better matches.

When he was the hero, he would let the heel control most of the match which would create the Rocky Balboa ending when he did the hulk up.

Once he did the hulk up, you knew it was game set and match.  There was so much money made from what he did with the company.

I remember Wrestlemania 5 when he put on one of my favorite matches of all time with the late Randy "Macho Man" Savage.

Randy and Hulk had tremendous chemistry with one another, it really showed regardless of what side either of them were on.

I thought it was an incredible match, Randy was such a good athlete that it really made it an interesting contest.

What made Hulk an even better worker, he was willing to sacrifice the title to put other wrestlers over, he was a big reason why the Ultimate Warrior had his big moment.

Looking back it was obviously a mistake, considering Hulk Hogan's career was 100 times better than the career of the Ultimate Warrior.

Going into Wrestlemania 6's main event with Hulk Hogan defending the WWE title against the Ultimate Warrior, coming in as the Intercontinental champion, there was a big future ahead for the Ultimate Warrior in the wrestling business.

When Hulk Hogan put over the Ultimate Warrior it was the start of the Warrior's big run, it was an example of Hulk doing what was right for the business.

When he went to WCW he kept Hulkamania going as long as he could, he could see that the business was changing, he knew he had to adapt.

In what I think is the greatest heel turn ever, Bash Of The Beach in 1996 was the start of the nWo, 2 years after his 1st WCW Championship in his debut match against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

Hulk aligned himself with Scott Hall {Razor Ramon in the WWE}, and Kevin Nash {Diesel in the WWE}, they put together one of the more famous groups created.

He would become the first world champion to have a title spray painted with the words nWo, it would go on to be his trademark whenever he held the title.

He would also come up with the name Hollywood Hogan, the name that lived as one of the major heels in WCW for years.

The swerve threw everyone off, it was totally unlike Hulk Hogan to align himself with the bad guys, thats what made this storyline so fresh.

After WCW was bought out from the WWE, Hulk went on to win his last world championship with the WWE in 2002, he was able to defeat Triple H at Backlash to win the WWE Undisputed title.

Hulk was also gracious enough to once again put over another superstar at Wrestlemania, he put over the Rock.

Many fans will say that was a great moment for wrestling, when your watching the best wrestler ever pass the torch to a current star, it shows a real love for the business.

Again one thing that could always be said about Hulk Hogan, no matter how hurt the man is he continues to stick around to keep us entertained.

We don't realize how much that man has gone through with all of his surgeries over the years,  he has given everything and has done so with more pride than you could ever know.

After everything that has happened he still to this very day takes the time to put over TNA, the work he has put into the company has been the big reason its starting to take off.

You can just see wrestlers in awe at his presence, you really feel it when wrestlers do an angle with him for the first time, you can see how nervous they are.

Right now Hulks daughter Brooke Hogan has been a part of the show recently, she is running the TNA knockouts division {women}.

I as a major fan cannot thank this man enough, it is truly amazing to find someone that famous who takes the time to speak to his fans.

Whatever happens with the rest of his career, every wrestling fan in the world should always acknowledge who the man is and that will always be Hulk Hogan.
