Mark Wahlberg has been part of something special with the expansion of Entourage. The story is based a lot on his life along with his brother. For a while now watching entourage on a Sunday night has become the trend.
The show brought together another fantastic episode of the new season as Drama played by Kevin Dillion was hilarious. Just thinking about it you have to laugh when you think about the face he made when he thought that Turtles {Jerry Ferrara} girlfriend Jamie Lynn Sigler star of the Sopranos was having an affair with his boss.
Vince {Adrian Grenier} and Turtle were enjoying the day at college as Turtle revisited the days of learning while Vince revisited the days of his partying. Vince has been enjoying his leisure time trying to find ways to kill time as he has made it big in the acting world.
Dramas character on the show has hit a dangerous crossroad where he chose to defend his friend over his own job. Drama grabbed his both by the throat pushing him back against the wall for saying that he was going to eventually get Turtles girlfriend to have sexual intercourse with him. It was a defining moment in the episode and will leave a lot of anticipation into what to expect next Sunday. Drama looks as though he will be killed off on the current show he is working for because of that incident.
Eric {Kevin Connolly} also had a rough episode for his character and going into next week is left with a decision to take an important job offer. His girlfriend Ashley heard a voicemail Eric's ex girlfriend Sloan left and once she realized that Eric had at least seen her she was destroyed. Ashley ended up blowing Eric off in the end shutting the door in his face when he had admitted that he still held feelings for Sloan.
Ari {Jeremy Piven} was as funny as it gets for a comedy. Once he started to get along with his wife his friend Andrews {Gary Cole} life finds a way to interfere with his happiness. Andrews’s affair with Lizzie who works for Ari came to a boiling end as Andrews’s wife stormed the office causing Ari more aggravation. Finally Ari was ready to fire Andrew and Lizzie as they both pleaded for there jobs Lizzie was ready to move on as Andrew seemed to be ruined.
Ari sent Lizzie out of the office eventually telling her not to do anything with anyone else or that would be it in his own humorous words. Andrew was put in his place after that as Ari told him to be a man and to go back to his family that unlike most men he had it made because he wife would take him back for being a cheating jerk.
Make sure you watch next weeks episode to see what will happen. Has Jamie's lust for Turtle faded? Has Drama read his final line? Will Eric take the job offer? Those are 3 huge questions to be answered on next week’s episode along with many others as Entourage looks to stay on HB
Hung also brought together an outstanding episode as Thomas Jane looks to blow up in his new role as Ray Drecker. Thomas Jane chose to do this role instead of starting in the sequel to the 2004 Punisher in the Punisher War Zone.
Ray Drecker is a divorced high school basketball coach with 2 kids a burned down house and a new found career in being a male prostitute. His female pimp Tanya {Jane Adams} is an unemployed poet who like Ray is in a tight financial situation and needs to make money fast.
The first season has been exciting and for the main idea of the show it keeps the viewer in with reality. You see a man who is struggling in today's economy dealing with the pressures that worry us all around the world. You see the one side of Ray when he is working as a male prostitute as the show grows on you see a different side of him. You will see a man who will do whatever he has to do for his kids.
You can see that everything he does he does for them. He goes out of his way to try to get everything back to the way it was but he has to deal with many obstacles one being his neighbor Howard Koontz {Loren Lester}. Ray nips that problem in the bud by having sex with his wife while he was away having her agree that there would be no more citations for Ray’s house.
While Tanya found a new love Pierce the pursuit of being with Jemma {Natalie Zea} was Ray’s agenda majority of the episode. The end of the episode showed Ray waiting for Jemma as it looked like he was going to be stood up will leave a lot of doubt if Ray will get her in the end. Next week should be interesting as Hung continues its pilot season proving that Thomas Jane is a big name actor.
