Vick A Disgrace To The NFL

http://fromtheleft.files.wordpress.com/2009/07/michael-vick-r_0.jpg

Look its Mr. Public image Michael Vick. What a disgrace this man is to football. How on earth does the NFL let this man back into the game?

Vick's talent cannot be called into question but his morality does. The fact Plaxico Burress and Michael Vick's sentences are not that far in distance is disgusting. Burress was stupid that much is true but the crimes are completely different.

Plaxico didn't have the intentions to hurt anyone although he shouldn't have been carrying an illegal weapon.

Vick on the other hand basically murdered innocent dogs and has been involved in many controversies that have nothing to do with the game of football.

I am not saying Plaxico shouldn't have been punished I'm just saying that the time did not fit the crime for Vick as he will be a free man now.

The Eagles have made themselves a dangerous team in the NFC East but at what cost? The Eagles have sold their soul to produce a more efficient team.

Say what you want about Brett Farve with his retirement drama I understand he is not bigger than the game but you never hear about these things with Farve.

At least when you hear about Farve it has to do with football same goes for other quarterbacks who set the standard such as Tom Brady, Farve Vick's new teammate that he will be backing up Donovan McNabb, the Manning brothers along with many others.

McNabb has not always won the big game but you have to admire the mans dedication to the sport. The fact Donovan has to turn around and see someone like Vick backing him up has to be shameful.

All McNabb has meant to the Eagle franchise to know there will always be a chance that he could be replaced that dog murderer.

As good as Vick is what he is as a person says it all about what he is about. How could you teach your children too look up to a man like that even if you are just watching him for his football ability?

Roger Goodell the NFL commissioner will hopefully have many sleepless nights for what he has done for the game lifting Vick's suspension. The man should be banned from the game he has no respect for football or anyone in football.

Vick admitted to spending many nights crying himself to sleep in prison is now able to enjoy the freedoms of the world but on top of everything is back to being an NFL superstar. It is humiliating to watch the Eagles demean themselves by signing this horrible human being.

Vick could become the starting quarterback go undefeated win a Super bowl and I will still call him out for what he represents. Pride and respect have to step in here and get this man out of football for good.
