A lot like game on of this Series the Boston Red Sox once again were victims of the Angels starting pitching.
Boston needed a big game out of David Ortiz, and didn't get that at all as he was 0 for 3 striking out once adding to his post season troubles.David is now 0 for 7 with 4 strikeouts during the first two games of the Series.

Their two hits off Jared Weaver were a triple from CF Jacoby Ellsbury, followed by an RBI single from catcher Victor Martinez.
Other than that Ja. Weaver was perfect in his outing against Boston.
The Red Sox's pitcher also threw a quality game, but in the 7th Josh Beckett would be penalized by something that has no place in professional Baseball.
After allowing an RBI single to Angels Maicer Izturis, Josh Beckett had a real beef with the home plate umpire.
With one on two out Angels catcher Mike Napoli purposely stepped into a 2-2 curve ball letting it hit him.
Boston's J. Beckett was furious, and rightfully so that is bush ball at this level players should be up there looking to hit. This picture belongs to ESPN.com
That play would come back to burn Terry Francona's Red Sox as Josh Beckett gave up a two run triple to Angels Eric Aybar.
After the two out two run base hit Josh Beckett's night would be done as he pitched 6 2\3 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits.
New Red Sox reliever lefty Billy Wagner would enter the game to pitch, and was throwing absolute smoke.
B. Wagner would get Chone Figgins to strike out by blowing the ball by him to end the inning stranding a runner at third as the Halos would have a 3 run lead.
This game was all about pitching, but Los Angels did get a couple of big hits to help them grab a 4-1 win.
Former New York Yankee Angels RF Bobby Abreu is hitting .500 in this Series after going 2 for 4, while scoring a run.
2B Maicer Izturis was 1 for 3 in the game but his one hit was a big one being a go ahead 2 out RBI single off of the Red Sox's Josh Beckett.
The Angels are now up 2 games to 0 in the Series as Boston better find a solution, and quick as they face elimination for a day game on Sunday.
On Sunday the Red Sox will return to play in front of their home fans as they send Clay Buchholz to the mound to battle Angels hard throwing lefty Scott Kazmir.
