All season long Yankees catcher Jorge Posada has been a nuisance for their elite pitcher A.J. Burnett. This picture belongs to nimg.sulekha.com
As much as A.J. shows class, and tells a different story its completely obvious that Jorge always finds a way to annoy him when he is on the mound.
This story has dragged on long enough, and I am tired of reading about it.
Fact is Jose Molina will catch game two of the 2009 ALDS for A.J. Burnett that's it.
If Jorge wanted to prove his case he didn't show anything when he was absolutely terrible in last night's game one.
His two passed balls could have really hurt the team, as he also stranded runners in scoring position at the plate.
You know his bat will eventually show up for this Series, by why even bother opening up your mouth if you are going to look like a little leaguer behind the plate?
J. Posada needs to realize like I have said before he is not Derek Jeter or Mariano Rivera if he wants to be compared to them then he must do something this October.
I cannot really remember Jorge putting the team on his back for a ring so lets not get ahead of ourselves he is one of the most overrated players in the game today.
Whatever happens in game two that is the right move by Manager Joe Girardi, and if Jorge Posada wants to be a team guy then he should shut up and deal with it like a man.
Every time Joe Girardi tries to manage this team he has one person constantly run their mouth, and it's always Jorge Posada.
In my mind one man makes the decisions in the end, and that is J. Girardi not anyone of the players with the exception of the captain Derek Jeter.
Lets hope A.J. Burnett pitches good for game two because if he don't I am sure we will never hear the end of it from big ears Jorge.
