New York Rangers #30 goaltender Henrik Lundqvist was phenomenal.

#24 Ryan Callahan played hard to earn himself a nice backhanded goal after playing excellent two way Hockey,

Ryan secured the puck after being all over Capitals #8 Alex Ovechkin, as he took away the puck from him several times during the game.

#12 Ales Kotalik gets the puck pass Caps Jose Theodore 2nd goal of the year to put the Blueshirts up 2-1.

The goal would be R. Callahan's 1st of the season, and would tie the game up at 1-1.

The Capitals tied the game at 2-2 when they had an unexpected long shot that was meant for clear go past Rangers Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.

My take on that is when you are as good as Henrik is you don't let that sort of thing bother you the best professional athletes have bloopers.

That play will be forgotten as the man will keep this team in so many games throughout this season so I think you could look past a garbage goal every now and then.

#10 Marian Gaborik came up big in last night's win with 2 goals giving him 4 in his first 4 games as a New York Ranger.

Marian Gaborik was the star of the game for New York as he ignited the offense as he did for many seasons with the Wild.

Marian has a lot of leadership qualities, and last night was definitely the example of that.

The Blueshirts would have plenty of momentum to win on the outstanding goal tending from Henrik Lundqvist.

The game was back and fourth all throughout as Washington's star player Alex Ovechkin was kept off the board with no points.

The NHL Referees were at there usual worst, as they many blown calls from what I saw in the game.

There seems to be a memo around the league that the Rangers have to be down with 4 two man advantages a game.

New York owes so much to their goalie H. Lundqvist if it were not for him then they would be in a lot of trouble.

Nobody realizes how good this man is, but when you watch him game in and game out you see that he can be near immortal at times.

The New York Rangers will take their 3-1 record over to Sunday's game when they will face the Anaheim Ducks at 5:00 pm.
