Rangers Dominate Leafs For 7th Win In A Row

King Henrik Lundqvist was once again brilliant as he won his 6th straight start making 34 saves on 35 shots.

Henrik was outstanding as he appeared to be a brick wall to the Maple Leafs struggling offense.

Toronto's #55 Jason Blake, and #12 Lee Stempriak are two of the major goons on the Leafs taking runs at Rangers goaltender #30 Henrik Lundqvist all throughout their last two meetings.

Toronto played some of the dirtiest Hockey I have seen in a very long time, but you know the drill only the Rangers get penalized.

So the refs throw us a bone every now and then but in the end they are wrong more times than not when it comes to officiating the Rangers.

Henrik was given no protection as usual, I don't know how many times it has to happen before someone does something about it.

If the referees continue to treat the blueshirts the way they been then one of the Rangers will have to step up and knock Toronto's goalie into another area code.

Lets also not forget Sean Avery got rammed when the puck was nowhere near him right in front of a referee.

I don't know how Sean Avery is considered anymore dirty than someone like the Leafs Jason Blake.

Anytime S. Avery goes near a crease he is either jumped on by 3 players or penalized for no reason this is not Hockey, and it is getting out of hand.

Toward the end of the period #17 Brandon Dubinsky who had a excellent start to the game would roof the puck over the right shoulder of Leafs goalie #29 Joey MacDonald to score his 3rd goal of the young season.

The 2nd period started with a #18 Mark Staal goal as he pulled off the wraparound goal to net his first of the year.

#24 Ryan Callahan would draw a big power play to set up the rangers 3rd goal of the game.

#4 Michael Del Zotto ripped a power play goal from the point for his 3rd in the season, to give his parents something to watch as they came to see him play.

Although Henrik Lundqvist would give up a quick goal to follow he still had a 2 goal lead going into the 3rd period, and was giving his team a chance to win as he does almost every night.

The Rangers would take their 3-1 lead into the lockeroom for the 2nd intermission.

The 3rd period was all New York again they got a goal from Enver Lisin who put in his first of the year.

The blueshirts had enough goals to play conservative for the rest of the game, as they were completely the better team out there.

New York would go on to win the game as Toronto doesn't seem to even be in their league right now after starting the first 7 games of the season winless.

Watching Toronto tonight I can definitely see why they haven't won a game yet, they don't seem to play Hockey at all.

All I saw from them tonight was them trying to fight everyone on the ice, instead of focusing on a way to get the puck through the incredible goaltending of Henrik Lundqvist.

The New York Rangers next game will be on Monday night at 7:00 pm as they will meet the San Jose Sharks at Madison Square Garden.
