Philles Defeat Rockies In Game One

They would end the threat after a Carlos Ruiz RBI single to take a 2-0 lead into the 6th.

The Phillies gave their pitcher Cliff Lee some more runs support as they score 3 runs into the swirling winds to take a 5 run lead.

Cliff would thrive in this game after he continued to work with full command.

This was a day where he had his best stuff with him, and was difficult to solve in a one run complete game shutout.

Cole was 10-11 this season but can always be an arm to rely on, he has given some of his best outings in the post season during his career.

The Colorado Rockies will have a lot to work on, but will have a valuable pitcher in Aaron Cook.
