Alex Rodriguez has been the answer to the New York's demand for a post season hero. After years of heavy criticism Alex has reached a point where he looks to have figured out how to hit with the game on the line.

A. Rodriguez had only 1 hit in the 2009 ALCS game two but it was a big one a game tying solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning.
He showed massive strength lifting an 0-2 fastball up and out of the strike zone over the right field wall.
All year it seems no matter how good a closer is he somehow always has their number.
Going into game three Alex has a chance to do it again as he will face a pitcher he is very familar with Angels Jared Weaver.
Although Arod had only one hit in four at bats off him this year that one hit was a home run.
In previous years he has had a lot of success off of Ja. Weaver I know because I went to a game where Alex dominated him years ago.
A. Rodriguez has 68 career home runs against the Los Angels, and will look to add onto that total in tomorrow's game.
Expect more to come from this future hall of famer who has hurdled all obstacles that have been thrown at him during his time in New York.
