Eli Manning has been in control of the Giants offense in their first two games, and expect no different in today's game. This picture belongs to ESPN.com
Eli is already 45 for 67 on pass attempts throwing for over 586 yards according to stats from NFL.com.
E. Manning has a lot of support with his offensive line, and will have a variety of players to throw to.
Mario Manningham is a fierce wide receiver coming off a great game looking to duplicate what he did in last week's win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Steve Smith also had himself a memorable game, but will have plenty of season left to prove that he is that good.
Both receivers give the Giants so much in their offense with the size, and strength of tight end Kevin Boss.
K. Boss provides a lot of production out of his position, and is a great athlete for a man of his size.
So far he has averaged over 18 yards per catch as he had 4 catches that resulted in over 75 yards.
The stat that has stood out to me on the Giants is Brandon Jacobs rushing for only 104 yards on 32 carries.
B. Jacobs has a lot of ability, but does not have the speed to be your #1 RB. For a man with his size he doesn't seem to be able to bull rush the defense to get short yardage first downs.
Head Coach Tom Coughlan needs to spread around the ground game, and dish the ball out to Ahmad Bradshaw.
Ahmad has 97 yards on only 21 attempts, and will tire out the defense for the attack from Brandon Jacobs.
What made their running game so effective last year was that they always had someone in the backfield that was fresh ready to go, they never relied on one player.
That just goes to show you how good retired Giant Tiki Barber was, as he basically carried the New York offense for years.
If you are a Giant fan do not get down on Brandon Jacobs, because he means a lot to the team, and he will have another solid season.
Right now there has been a lot of pressure on B. Jacobs to rack up the yards, so you have to give the 27 year old a chance as he was already a part of winning the 2007 super bowl.
Let's not forget the man did average over 5 yards a carry for the last two seasons, scoring 19 touchdowns.
When it comes to defense the G-men definitely provide that with a defensive unit led by middle linebacker Antonio Pierce who had over 95 tackles last season.
They have many threats that can be a nightmare for opposing QB's around the league.
You have to expect Osi Umenyiora to give the Buc's QB Bryon Leftwich some major problems.
Speaking of former great RB Tiki Barber, his twin brother of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be facing off against New York at 1:05 pm today as Eli Manning looks to take his team to a 3-0 start.
Back to the offense as good as they have moved the ball down the field, they need to start to find the end zone a little more instead of having to taking the field goal for 3 points.
E. Manning will be the one to watch out for today, as the game will be up to him.
Look for an exciting game, and expect Eli to come out hungry after an impressive win over Dallas last Sunday.
