Newcomer to the New York Rangers Matt Gilroy is anxious to show the hockey world what he can do on the ice.
The 25 year old defenseman has had many accomplishments, but looks to build on them as he now stands in front of the NHL.
M. Gilroy had played four years for Boston University racking up 92 points in 160 games.
Matt won the Hobey Baker award for being the best player in college hockey after he had scored 37 points his senior year based off the stats from NHL.com.
He is expected to continue his growth as a superstar, and one of the best defenseman in Ranger history.
The 6 foot 2 rookie is excited to have found a home in Manhattan, as he will benefit from the teachings of John Tortorella, and Mark Messier.
We all saw what the young Matt Gilroy could do in college it should be even more entertaining to watch what he can do in the National Hockey League.
