A good sign for New York this season was seeing the return of Osi Umenyiora who came back with a great opening game.
Osi returned a fumble for a 37 yard touchdown during the first game of the season, after sacking J. Campbell for a 11 yard loss knocking the ball loose.
O. Umenyiora has played a major role for the G-men in previous years, and looks to do the same this season.
This game will look to be a battle of quarterbacks as it will be interesting to see if both defenses can handle Tony Romo, and Eli Manning.
The Dallas Cowboys will come into the game also with a 1-0 record after a crushing defeat over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a game where Tony Romo dominated the Buc's defense.
The Cowboys are feeling good after they won their first game on a 353 yard game by T. Romo who was able to find Dallas receivers in the end zone for 3 touchdown passes.
T. Romo will encounter some difficulties with Justin Tuck who is going to be pumped up after picking up two sacks last Sunday.
Tony will have one less problem with the departure of Terrell Owens, a player that was a constant distraction for the Dallas locker room.
Eli Manning and the New York Giants will arrive into Dallas 1-0 on the season looking to take apart the Cowboys defense.
E. Manning is coming off a game where he was 20 for 29 on pass completions, and would have had a better percentage if a couple of passes were not dropped.
Eli showed signs of taking this Giant team deep into the playoffs, and you know his game will always be there against good teams.
He was given a huge effort out of his young wide receivers in the home opener. The team looked to have applied pressure to the Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell throughout the game.
Both teams have explosive running backs who can pound out the ground game.
Dallas will look for a big game out of Marion Barber who has 3,131 career rushing yards on 729 attempts.
M. Barber has always been a thorn in the side of the Giants defense being a major factor in many games between the two rival teams.
On the other hand when you look at New York they have two players who will rack up the rushing yards the first being Brandon Jacobs.
B. Jacobs will come at you with full force, but has to learn how to pick up the short yards to become the monster he is projected to be.
Still Brandon is a tremendous player with a lot of ability that will keep opposing defenses off their game.
After watching last Sunday's Giant win it is obvious that Ahmad Bradshaw is ready to lead the ground game for New York.
Ahmad will tire out defenses in the NFL with speed, and toughness. A. Bradshaw will come straight forward if he has to, showing how strong he is.
The 5 foot 9 23 year old out of Bluefield, Virgina has made a name for himself, and will continue to be an elite player.
In his short career A. Bradshaw has averaged 5.9 yards per career in 102 attempts rushing for 605 yards in 28 games.
Ahmad was a primary player in last Sunday's victory rushing for 60 yards on 12 carries, but also making 3 catches for 11 yards.
This upcoming Sunday night will be a true battle in the NFC as Dallas will defend their home territory for a 8:20 pm eastern time game against the Giants.
Get ready for a thriller between two elite teams.
