Mr. Monday Night Puts Colts Up 2-0 For Season

Mr. Monday Night Peyton Manning threw for 303 yards with 2 touchdown passes to defeat the Miami Dolphins last night 27-23.

P. Manning began last night's game with a 88 yard touchdown pass to put the Miami Dolphins back on their heels.

However the Dolphins would fight back to tie the game with an impressive drive.

Both kickers were on their game, as they provided some strong boots to keep the score close.

Dolphins kicker Dan Carpenter was 3 for 4 on field goals as his longest kick of the game was 45 yards.

For the Colts they also had a strong special teams unit, because they have a great kicker in Adam Vinatieri.

A. Vinatieri was 2 for 2 as his longest boot of the game was a 48 yard field goal, as he helped the Colts top Miami.

The Dolphins had a strong ground game, as RB Ronnie Brown rushed for 136 yards on 24 attempts, to carry the weight of declining former Jets QB Chad Pennington.

Chad Pennington had a rough night only throwing for 183 yards, not being able to reach the end zone.

C. Pennington also threw an interception in the game as his team's record now stands at 0-2.

Chad is a good guy, and I also route for him, but he always seems to hold his team back.

If you look back the New York Jets were horrible to watch while he was the starting QB, but you saw it he gave them inconsistency in his role as a leader.

In the end it really doesn't matter how much you like him, you have to tell it like it is he doesn't have the arm to be a good passer.

It was no surprise that the star of the game was P. Manning as he put his team on his back to lead the way.

The way he sets up at the line he finds ways to keep the defending CB's, and FS's on their heels with bombs down field.

You know anytime you have #18 penciled into the Indianapolis Colt lineup that you will be granted with a performance from an elite QB.

P. Manning the older brother of Giant's QB Eli Manning has given the Colts more than what they signed up for being one of the best leaders in the NFL.

The 2-0 Indianapolis Colts will look to win their 3rd game of the season as they will take on the 1-1 Arizona Cardinals next Sunday on NBC at 8:20 pm.

Peyton Manning will be looking to go up against a team coming off a big win. It should be entertaining to watch P. Manning put on another show.
