The Florida Marlins have been a great franchise but have been unable to put out a competitive team this season.
When you are a big fish in a little pond problems will seem to find you no matter what you do.
Dan Uggla was arguing with Hanley Ramirez for leaving a game early with an injury which has led to much controversy in Marlin land.
If you are a Marlins fan you should be disgraced that someone like Uggla would have the stones to call out a player who is as valuable as Hanley Ramirez.
From Ramirez side he is batting .355 you have to assume if he is hurt that it is a real injury. Word of advice to Dan Uggla maybe he should realize that when it comes to hamstring injuries you have to take proper caution to prevent further harm down the road.
Why should Hanley play hurt for a team that has not played behind him? Uggla is a great player but maybe he should be worrying more about his .245 batting average or his .225 average with runners in scoring position.
With runners in scoring position for the 2009 season Hanley is batting a solid .375 proving he is a major part of Florida's offense. Ramirez has earned his way into being one of the greatest #3 hitters in all of baseball.
The 25 year old shortstop is in desperate need for a new home, and could be win titles in the future. He is underpaid for the player he is, and for Uggla to complain about Hanley's 70 million for six years is out of line.
How many players are bringing down more money, and playing inconsistently. Ramirez has earned his contract, and for a player like Hanley he deserves a better contract.
There are many options that would cause Hanley's career to insert himself into the spotlight.
It would be exciting to see what he could do in an American League lineup with the DH supporting him.
To be selfish you would think if Derek Jeter could move to another position Hanley Ramirez would be a great fit for the

Another possible stop for him would be the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers have some serious pitching, and are always playing solid baseball. As of today the Tigers are in 1st place of their Division.
The Florida Marlins have a potential MVP here and need to either win or let him go to a team that will. I am sick of watching players like this rot on teams that have no chance, and take criticism for coming out of a game with an injury.
Dan Uggla should look at players that make over 20 million in a season and beg out of games. As much as I like Carl Pavano look at how much money the Yankees wasted on him. The players and organization were frustrated with him, but they were at least professional about it.
If Uggla really felt that way he should have said it behind closed doors to Hanley Ramirez away from anyone else. When it comes to a player like Ramirez you have to give him the benefit of the doubt, and at least ask him what is going on.
